Safety First : If you decided to get a room in the tourist zone
. . . the end to your night of drinking and dancing your ass off
in Ensenada should be a good one. The streets in the tourist zone
are well lit and there are plenty of police on duty. Though I would
still recommend against unescorted females walking around after dark.
If you have chosen the more adventurous option of one of the cheaper
hotels a few blocks behind the tourist zone . . . Don't worry about
the transvestite hookers looking for business on the back streets,
unless you are a guy who is REALLY DRUNK!

Remember that many robbers/muggers
work in groups of two or three. One will pretend to be drunk and
test you to see how aware you are (they like to choose easy targets)
and if you allow him to distract you, his pal may move in behind
you.
**Seriously, if your hotel is only a few blocks away, and you have
even the slightest doubt about the safety of your drunken walk home
. . . TAKE A TAXI!!!
