Getting to Zipolite from Pochutla:
The cheapest way to get to Zipolite is by using
a small pick-up truck with bench type seats in back called a Camioneta.
You will need to ask where the closest pick up spot is for Camionetas
heading to Zipolite, and it could get pretty crowded, but it will
only cost you 10 pesos.
The next option is a Colectivo which is basically a Taxi
that will try to fit as many people as he can into the vehicle heading for
Zipolite. And if you just don't care because the trip was too long and you
want to get there with the minimum of hassles, you can hire your own taxi going
to Zipolite for around $10.00 USD.
Getting to Pochutla from Zipolite:
Basically, you follow the same procedure as above. You can
either wait on the main road for a Camioneta (pay the driver when you get out),
or you can usually find a Taxi in town waiting for something to do.
Getting anywhere else:
All busses coming and going go through either the 1st Class or the
2nd Class bus station in Pochutla.
Note : The prices below are a few years old, but it should give
you a reasonable estimate of how much it will cost to get around
:)
